Bye-bye Ace Of Cakes, Claims Food Network

Food Network has come to a decision. Celeb baker Duff Goldman and the reality TV show he stars in, “Ace of Cakes,” won’t be aired on the network after next year. Starting January, the program will air its 10th and final season.

Food Network no more showing ‘Ace of Cakes’

Food Network confirmed in a statement Sunday the 10th season of “Ace of Cakes” will be its last, according to the Associated Press. The cameras will not be there without Food Network promoting it, although Duff Goldman and his crew at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, M.D., will be continuing business. Charm City Cakes and Goldman show up on the ‘Ace of Cakes’ show

Becoming famous for Jeffrey Adam “Duff” Goldman was a matter of business with cakes. The cakes were very unusual. Charm City Cakes was opened by the Michigan-born man in 2000. More employees had to be hired since business continued to grow and grow. Goldman got some sculptors, painters and architects together instead of pastry chefs for employees. Torches, drills and grinders could be found in Charm City Cakes. This is what the Goldman cakes are made from in his bakery.

What the end of Ace of Cakes looks like

With both supporters and critics, Ace of Cakes has done considerably well for the Food Network station, earning some of the highest ratings ever for a prime-time exhibiting. All good things have to end though, just as Goldman said. However, considering the man’s love for all cakes beautiful and weird, fans are hoping they’ll get another slice of “Ace of Cakes” on other Food Network programs.
