Chocolate Frosting Melted Butter
How To Make Delectable Brownies In A Snap
A delicious main course should be followed by an equally delicious dessert. But it’s not always that you got lots of free time to produce a dessert. Luckily, you can make brownies even when in a time crunch. The following is a quick and easy recipe for making this yummy chocolate dessert.
The ingredients are pretty simple. You will need cake mix (1 package), butter (1 stick), brown sugar (half a cup), and egg (1 medium sized). Of course there’s also cocoa powder (half a cup), and peanuts (1 cup, chopped coarsely). You will also need a large-sized mixing bowl, baking spoon, electric beaters, and medium-sized microwave-safe square cake pans.
Again, this recipe is fuss-free, as you will bake the brownies just by using a countertop microwave oven! Once everything you will need is ready, it’s time to melt the stick of butter. Slice it into small pieces, place in a small bowl, and cover with a paper towel. Put it in the microwave and heat for 5-10 seconds. Stir it, then repeat the entire procedure until it’s melted evenly.
Put the melted butter into a large mixing bowl. Add the cake mix, brown sugar, cocoa powder and egg. Mix them all with the use of electric beaters for 1 to 2 minutes. It should turn into the consistency of a thick cake batter. Add the peanuts and blend into the mixture using only a baking spoon.
Grease the pan using a cooking spray, then carefully transfer the mixture into it. For the microwaving part, you can follow the directions printed on the cake mix’s packaging. You should turn the pan every 2 to 3 minutes if your oven doesn’t have a turntable. This will ensure an even baking of the brownies.
Testing if it’s done is very easy. Insert a skewer or toothpick right in the center of the brownies. Pull it out and check if something is clinging on it. If there’s none, it means that the chocolate dessert is done. Take it out of the oven and let cool thoroughly before slicing into squares. You may also place it on a cooling rack for a shorter cooling time.
If you want, you can use round cake pans to make a delectable chocolate cake using the same recipe. Simply put a large plate on top of the pan, and turn it upside down to release the sumptuous treat. Cover it in ready-made chocolate or vanilla flavored frosting. You can decorate it with marshmallows, chopped up chocolate chip cookies and others.
